Getting there from the airport of Cagliari Elmas to our base:

By car:Exit the Cagliari-Elmas airport following the signs for Cagliari / Cagliari Porto. Take Highway 130 Iglesiente/SS130. Keep progressing on Via Caduti di Nasiriya. At the roundabout, take Via dei Trasvolatori / SS391. From the right lane enter on Highway Iglesiente / SS130, via the ramp to Pula / Cagliari Centre. Continue to SS195racc. Exit New siding / SS195 and continue the SS195 .. Turn right and take Molo Sabaudo / E25, follow the E25. Arrival at the Molo Sanità – CS Charter Base.

Getting there from Elmas airport by public transport:

If you decide to travel by bus, the airport is 7 km from the center.

From the entrance you will find city buses that will take you in Piazza Matteotti, in front of the City hall, next to the Train Station, a few hundred meters from our base located at Molo Sanità at the Marine Station terminal. Buses are frequent every 15, 30 or 50 minutes depending on the time of day. But be careful because from Cagliari to the Airport the last bus leaves at 22:30, the last bus from the airport to the city is 23.30.

Taxi: At the exit of the ground floor and the 1st floor there are several taxi companies.

Car rental: There are in the covered parking block, on the ground floor, all the leading national rental car (AVIS, HERTZ, ….…)

How to get to the base CS Charter in Carloforte?
Whether you come from Calasetta or Portovesme, no matter whether on foot or by car:

  • Disembarkation from the ferry, turn left on Via Cavour.
  • Continue straight ahead on Corso Battellieri until reaching the roundabout.
  • Through the large parking lot, towards the sea to reach the entrance to the marina.
  • The distance from the sea boarding is about 480 meters.

How to get from Cagliari to Carloforte:

By car: From Via Roma, take westbound highway 130. At km 44 turn right on the Villamassargia output. Before entering the town, at the first light turn right onto highway 195, to go for another 20 km until the indication Portovesme – ferries to Carloforte.

Public transport: First bus service Airport – Cagliari City and then take advantage of the vector integrated bus-train transportation Southern Railway of Sardinia and TRENITALIA. (They are therefore expected of train / bus changes at F.S. stations Carbonia, Iglesias, Villamassargia Siliqua.). Travel time of about 2-3 hours depending on the race.

How to get from Olbia to Carloforte:
By car: Leave the port of Olbia, take the highway junction Cagliari-Sassari-Nuoro-Airport. After about 2.5 km take the exit on the right towards San Teodoro-Siniscola-Nuoro-Cagliari and drive along the SS 131 DCN for 144 km. Take the exit towards Cagliari: you will enter at that point in the SS131, to go for 86 km until you see Samassi – Vallermosa. Continue on the SS 293, through the town of Samassi and follow the signs to Vallermosa.
Cross the village and continue straight direction Siliqua. After about 6 km turn left to enter the SS 130 towards Iglesias, then proceed for 14 km and take the Villamassargia-Carbonia exit. Arrived in the village of Villamassargia, at the traffic light, turn right and continue straight for about 29 Km then at the crossroads, turn left to Portovesme following signs for ferries to Carloforte. After 1.7 km you will reach a large parking lot where you will find the ticket office of the Saremar where you will need to purchase your ticket to arrive, finally, at Carloforte, a distance of about 30-40 minutes by boat.

Getting there from the Airport of Olbia Costa Smeralda?

By taxi: just hop on one of the many white taxis stationed in front of the gate “arrivals” to be in a few minutes drive in Olbia landing of CS Charter.

Public transport: With frequent departures of urban lines 2-10 you can reach the center of Olbia and the port area, where you find the Marina of Olbia, easily and inexpensively.

How to get from Cagliari to Olbia:

By car: From the city center, follow the signs SS131 – Sassari and follow road until km 120. After the Abbasanta gas station, take the exit on the right towards Nuoro. So it will enter the SS131 DCN. Getting there from the airport of Alghero Fertilia to Alghero:

How to get from Cagliari to Alghero:

Drive through, going straight, the intersection of “Due Mari”. After 10 km you arrive in Alghero.

Public Transport: A daily trip, departing at 7:30 am and, with few intermediate stops, leads from Olbia to Sassari in about an hour and a half.
Train: The local line 9 leads from the Isola Bianca port to the center of Olbia . At the station you need to find out about the times of the lines to Sassari.

How to reach from Porto Torres to Alghero:

By car: If you travel with your car, you leave from the port you will find the directions to Alghero. Journey time: 20-25 minutes

Public Transport: Porto Torres Rest areas Taxi Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

BUS: The airport of Porto Torres is the terminus of the ARST bus connections. The bus stop is located in the commercial port (near the Punto Verde Bar).

Train: Trains stop not far from the port. There is no direct connection Porto Torres – Alghero but Porto Torres – Sassari Central with Trenitalia.
